Cloud accounting demands high levels of reliability and security due to the sensitivity of remotely stored financial data; artificial intelligence contributes to the immediate, early detection of cyber threats and breaches by monitoring for anomalous activities and patterns within the cloud network, while also strengthening authentication mechanisms and data encryption to ensure the confidentiality of financial information and protect it against unauthorized access. Cloud-based systems rely on speed and efficiency; this is where artificial intelligence plays a pivotal role in meeting quality standards by automating routine accounting tasks—such as invoice entry, account matching, and bank reconciliation—with high precision. By minimizing human errors associated with manual processes, it fosters a more accurate and reliable accounting environment. Modern cloud accounting goes beyond merely recording transactions; it entails anticipating the financial future by employing machine learning algorithms to analyze historical data, generate accurate forecasts for cash flows and future budgets, and assist management in making investment decisions grounded in real-time insights, analytics, and precise performance indicators. Based on the findings, the researcher recommended updating institutional digital infrastructure and adopting reliable cloud platforms equipped with state-of-the-art protection and encryption tools for financial data. Additionally, the researcher advised launching continuous training programs for accounting staff to enhance their skills in utilizing intelligent analysis tools and interpreting cloud system outputs, as well as formulating clear, rigorous data management and protection policies to ensure compliance with local and international accounting and legal standards.
