Abstract

The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of applying strategic planning principles in Sudanese universities, focusing on the mediating role of academic standards, through a case study of the University of the Holy Quran and Islamic Sciences. A descriptive-analytical method was employed with a sample of 200 faculty and staff. Results showed that the university has a clear vision, mission, and flexible goals, with continuous development of structures, programs, and research. Findings also revealed that academic standards (teaching, research, and community service) enhance the impact of strategic planning on institutional performance.
