Abstract

This research aims to review and evaluate the United Nations' efforts in peacebuilding in post-conflict societies, and to identify the challenges facing these efforts. It examines the fundamental concepts of peacebuilding and their evolution, the characteristics of post-conflict societies, and assesses the international organization's efforts in this area, focusing on the approaches and institutional mechanisms it has adopted, its successes, failures, and challenges.
