Abstract

This study aims to achieve the letter of Prince Mansour bin Ghaleb Al Kathiri's letter to Sultan Abdul Hamid II, and to review the political situation in Hadramawt. The nature of the study necessitated the use of the historical research method to analyze the document, study its ideas and analyze its political and historical content. Axes, introduction and conclusion, the introduction included the problem of the study, its importance and objectives, and the first axis dealt with the literal text and criticism of the document, and the second axis reviewed the symbols and terminology of the document. The historical analysis of the document, and the conclusion included the results of the study, perhaps the most prominent of which is the clarification of the historical analysis of the document, the help of many of the Ottoman Empire to balance the conflict with the Al-Quaiti family, who used Britain to change the political control in Hadramawt, in their favor.
