Abstract

The current study aims to identify the study habits and learning methods of students in the classroom Teacher Department at the Faculty of Education, Misurata University for the academic the year 2025/2024, and to identify the most widespread dimensions of study and learning habits among sample members, and to know the differences in the use of study and learning habits among sample members according to the research variables (social status - semester).

During the research, the researcher used the study and learning habits scale prepared by Al-Sheikh and Abdul Rahim (1993) and the number of its paragraphs (25), distributed over four dimensions, and the achievement motivation questionnaire prepared by Hussein (2005) and the number of its paragraphs (20) and then distributed it to the sample members, numbering (146) female students.

The study results revealed a positive relationship between study habits, learning methods, and academic achievement motivation.

The findings indicated that students in the classroom Teacher Department at the Faculty of Education Misurata University predominantly exhibit positive study habits, with ahigh prevalence of 71-75% Moreover, statistically significant differences were observed in of study habits among the participants based on the academic year favoring students in the fifth year and above
