Abstract

The study aims to identify the role of administrative leadership styles (Autocracy, democratic and lenient) in effectiveness of government organizations (leadership of the team work, delegation of powers, motivation) in the Taxes department, Ajdabiya. The study adopted the inductive approach (descriptive and analytical) the data were collected by a questionnaire and distributed to of (57) employee. The data were statistically analyzed using the statistical package (SPSS).

-The study reached several results: There is no statistically significant effect of the leadership pattern (Autocracy, democratic and lenient) in effectiveness of government organizations (leadership of the team work, delegation of powers, motivation) in the Taxes department, Ajdabiya. This attributed to the privacy of the governmental organizations that works pursuant to laws. That limit the role of the leadership patterns on the effectiveness of government organization.

-The pattern of democratic leadership ranked first among the prevailing patterns of leadership in the Taxes department, followed by the lenient pattern, while the autocratic pattern came in third place.

the researcher recommends the following: The need to strengthen the principle of delegation of powers because of its significant impact in fulfilling work quickly and effectively.
