Abstract

This research aims to develop an integrative conceptual model explaining the dynamic interaction between psychological resilience and work stress in determining career adaptation trajectories among university faculty، Its significance stems from addressing a knowledge gap in understanding professional adaptation mechanisms, moving beyond traditional linear approaches، The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology through systematic literature review (2010-2025) in Arabic and English، Analysis identified six dimensions of psychological resilience, five categories of work stress, and three career adaptation trajectories (positive, stagnant, negative)، The research developed an integrative model illustrating direct, indirect, and feedback relationships among variables, considering Arab universities' cultural specificities، It recommends developing evidence-based intervention programs to enhance psychological resilience and improve the university organizational environment
