The Role of Security Work Ethics in Improving the Performance of Personnel at the Facilities and Installations Security Authority

This study examined work’s ethics and its contribution to improve the performance of employees of the Facilities and Installations Security Authority (FISA) at the Ministry of Interior. It considers ethics as an inherent value in the individual and recognizes that employees of the Authority are obligated to respect the regulations that governing its work while performing their duties. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the importance of the ethical principles and standards included in the Authority's regulations in improving employee performance. The study adopted a descriptive approach to examine and describe work ethics in (FISA) and its contribution in improving employee’s performance within (FISA). The study concluded with a set of findings confirming that work ethics in (FISA) plays a significant role in improving employee’s performance. It recommended that the development of a code of conduct is essential for employees of the (FISA).
