The Impact of the Work Environment and Its Different Dimensions on the Performance of Faculty Members A Case Study of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Souq Al-Ahad, Tarhuna

This study aimed to investigate the impact of the work environment and its various dimensions, namely the physical work environment, clarity of tasks, roles and responsibilities, and the social and organizational work environment, on the performance of faculty members at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Souq Al-Ahad, Tarhuna. The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach and used a questionnaire as the primary instrument for data collection. A random sample of 45 faculty members participated in the study. The collected data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), employing descriptive statistics, standard deviations, Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient, regression analysis, and the t-test.
The study reached the following findings:
- The work environment, with its various dimensions, has a positive and statistically significant effect on the performance of faculty members.
- The social and organizational work environment was found to be the most influential dimension affecting faculty members' performance.
